Welcome to the Christian Fiction Scavenger Hunt! If you’ve just discovered the hunt, be sure to start at Stop #1, and collect the clues through all the stops, in order, so you can enter to win one of our top 5 grand prizes!
The hunt BEGINS on 3/19 at noon Mountain with Stop #1 at LisaBergren.com.
Hunt through our loop using Chrome or Firefox as your browser (not Explorer).
There is NO RUSH to complete the hunt—you have all weekend (until Sunday, 3/22 at midnight Mountain)! So take your time, reading the unique posts along the way; our hope is that you discover new authors/new books and learn new things about them.
Submit your entry for the grand prizes by collecting the CLUE on each author’s scavenger hunt post and submitting your answer in the entry form at the final stop, back on Lisa’s site. Many authors are offering additional prizes along the way!

For those of you who don't know me already, I'm Jaime Jo Wright. Sometimes called the "Mistress of Macabre" or the "Goon of Looneyville". I am known for the split-personality of lover of all things dark and Gothic while having the personality of Scooby Doo. It shows in my writing too! I write dual time Gothic mysteries and always with a light of hope at the end and all paranormal explained through non-mystical and God-honoring ways.
I am owned by five cats who all consider me their personal property. Foo is the one most readers know as he is my personal sidekick and is rarely more than a few feet away from me. The others adore me, but prefer their space. I am also servant to two human urchins who believe I was put on this earth for the sole purpose of their entitled happiness. I am the first mate to Cap'n Hook who pirated me away years ago and has refused to give me back (not that my dad would want me back now anyway--I'm sort of weird).

My newest release is The Bookshop of 99 Doors. It was a trip to write, I'm not going to lie, and this one took a LOT of work and rewrites to come into existence. Still, I'm happy with the outcome and who doesn't love a bookshop? Rather than me muddling up what it's about, I'll just let you read the back cover:

One of the things I loved most about writing this book, was being able to revisit Civil War history. There are SO MANY secrets surrounding the Civil War, but what we don't read about is the effects of the war AFTER it was over. So, enter Ambrose Manor and its plethora of doors. This is a place that is haunted by the war, not unlike the men who came home when the Blue and the Gray laid down arms. Did you know there was a specific sickness (not PTSD) that affected the soldiers of the Civil War? I delve into this sickness in the book and without giving away spoilers, you might be surprise what actually caused it. You see, many soldiers returned with secrets, and many houses retained secrets that are still being discovered today.
Want to know more about Civil War secrets? Check out this really easy read!

What this story is: It's a story about war trauma and healing. It's a story about unresolved bitterness and how that continues into the legacies left behind. It's a story about secrets--both good and bad--that wound, hurt, destroy, and sometimes, are surprisingly redemptive. It's a story about ghosts--not just the ones who say "boo"--and it's a story with cats. Because ... cats.
What this story isn't: a horror novel. I don't write horror, and I don't write paranormal/demonic content. All of my books come with the asterisk of "no apologies needed" when it comes to the intent to honor and glorify Christ.
